Website analytics and advertising measurement

Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement are used only if you select Accept analytics. The purpose is to understand website visits, traffic sources and clicks that open WhatsApp, and to assess whether advertising is effective.

Measurement data may include pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device information, referring campaign information and the position of the WhatsApp link clicked. Postcodes, lesson preferences, WhatsApp messages, names, email addresses and phone numbers are not sent through the website analytics event.

The lawful basis for this measurement is your consent. Google is a recipient of the measurement data and may process information outside the UK using its applicable transfer safeguards. See Google's privacy policy.

Consent and storage on your device

The site stores your analytics choice in local browser storage for up to six months. This is necessary to remember the choice you requested. If you accept analytics, Google may set analytics and conversion-measurement cookies. If you reject, Google measurement tags are not loaded.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Analytics settings. Withdrawing consent stops future measurement and the site attempts to remove Google measurement cookies available to it.

WhatsApp enquiries

Clicking a WhatsApp link opens a service operated by WhatsApp and Meta. Information is not sent to Victor until you choose to send the message in WhatsApp. Messages may contain information you provide, such as your postcode, tennis level and availability.

Enquiry information is used to respond, check the service area, arrange lessons and keep appropriate booking records. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract and, where relevant, performing that contract. See WhatsApp's privacy information.

How long information is kept

Analytics user-level and event-level data will be configured for a maximum retention period of 14 months. Google Ads retains conversion information according to its service settings and policies.

Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally kept for no longer than 12 months after the last contact. Booking, payment or accounting records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary for tax, legal or dispute-resolution purposes.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, or object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
